National Aviation Academy is a nationally recognized Aviation Maintenance training school, headquartered in Clearwater, Florida. Application Process & Costs

• Research welding training courses as well as the welding school you would like to attend
• Call the welding school you would like to attend and inquire about the application process, costs as well as tuition fees and other types of fees.
• Apply for the welding course.
• Once admitted, attend the welding course and earn your certificate.
• Most welding courses last between a few weeks to several months.
• Once you finish your training, contact the AWS to set up a certification test. However, before you take the test, attend an AWS seminar to learn more about the test.
• Receive the AWS license and start working as a welder in Florida.

Internships

Welding internships offer students the opportunity to practice what they have been learning in the classroom. Many welding licensing schools encourage students to work as interns in industrial settings so that they can hone their technical skills and gain hands-on experience in using welding equipment and technology.

Online Programs
